During your stay with us, our primary concern will be your comfort and your return to good health. If you have any questions or concerns, our staff will be pleased to assist you in any way they can – just ask!

Visiting times

Visitors are welcome during the times given below.
Monday to Saterday – 12 noon to 2pm & 4pm to 8 pm

What to bring with you

If you are coming as an inpatient as well as the usual nightwear, dressing gown and slippers, you may wish to bring several items of loose comfortable clothing for during the day. You will probably also wish to bring your own toiletries.
Please ensure you also bring any medication that you are currently taking. This will be discussed with your Consultant, stored during your stay, and, if appropriate, returned to you on discharge.
We cannot take responsibility for the loss of your money, or for the loss or damage to your valuables or personal items during your stay. If you must bring valuables with you, let staff know when you arrive and they will give you a receipt before arranging for them to be stored securely in the hospital safe.

Data protection

The City Hospital must keep your personal health information confidential. It is your right.
Information that identifies you may be written on paper, held on computer, or both. Records are stored securely in different parts of the City Hospital Cochin.
